Utilizing English Videos as Listening Instructional Media to Promote EFL Students' Listening Proficiency

The delivery of listening instructions proved difficult for students, who also lacked interest in English subjects. One potential solution to improve their skills could be the use effective learning media that engages subject matter. purposes this study were investigate students’ proficiency and figure out perceptions utilizing videos as A quantitative research design was applied gather data required through a test questionnaire. Furthermore, used related students' ability, questionnaire find sources listening. Respondents twenty-five students from eleventh grade SMK N 1 Pleret, Yogyakarta. findings present revealed total mean score (????̅) results 76,8, which is categorized "Fair" level achievement. Other video brings positive impact on situation because made it possible actively participated class activities. indicated enjoy watching videos, believe enhance proficiency. Besides, provide visual elements can key element assisting ability.
